On 1st October 2013, LIQUID CAMPAIGN India officially became Serviceplan India. It’s now part of Europe's largest owner-managed agency. But its leverage doesn’t stop there. Serviceplan has strengthened its international reputation by becoming the most awarded German agency at Cannes 2013 and is ranked number 2 among the world's most creative independent agencies. Therefore, rebranding of its international offices is an important step towards its continued growth in foreign markets and to establish Serviceplan as a prominent brand on the international scene.
Serviceplan India has come a long way since it started its journey in the ‘millennium’ city of Gurgaon as LIQUID CAMPAIGN India. It was and still is headed by General Manager Claudia Woelfle and Executive Creative Director Kay Koester. In one of the fastest growing cities in Delhi NCR, the team of Kay and Claudia built the Indian arm of LIQUID CAMPAIGN from the ground upwards, operating out of their esteemed client BMW’s office in the beginning, as they waited for their own office to come up at the German Centre.
They scouted for advertising talent and added more members to team LIQUID. Soon the agency was off to a flying start. LIQUID launched the BMW 6 Series Convertible, the BMW X3 and later the iconic MINI in the Indian market. And then came the Indian launch of the BMW 3 Series – the world’s most widely sold premium car. This was a challenge and responsibility on a much larger scale that would define LIQUID’s future as an advertising agency in India.
Kay and Claudia worked tirelessly with their creative and account team to develop a core communication idea for the all-new BMW 3 Series. Thus was born THE ULTIMAT3 launch campaign for the BMW 3 Series – made in India for India. A 3600 campaign that encompassed all channels and successfully created the right buzz across all platforms. The campaign received phenomenal feedback.
Today, Serviceplan India is acknowledged as the exclusive communication agency of BMW and MINI, thanks to the enormous efforts put in daily by the team. As the sheer size and diversity of the Indian consumer continues to baffle even the most seasoned marketing and advertising professional, Serviceplan India is ready to face the challenges head on in its new avatar!
