Function Space, a social learning network for Science and Technology,announced its association with IIT Bombay (IITB) and IIT Madras (IITM) as their exclusive ‘Official Science Partner’ for Asia’s two biggest technical festivals, IIT B’s Techfest 2015 and IITM’s Shaastra 2015. The first-of-its kind collaboration, a distinct competitive environment, where students will get a remarkable opportunity to compete with the brilliant minds and get mentored by three different organizations on varied topics concurrently.
The objective of these festivals is to acknowledge the brightest minds, very closely aligned with the online competition conducted by Function Space,
“Think!”, a platform for people of all age groups nationwide to build brilliant solutions to real life problems, prizes worth Rs. 2 lakh to be won. It has already gathered around 20,000 submissions on innovative solutions like early prediction of cancer using chip, solving criminal evil practices against woman, conversion of solid waste to useful fuels and others.
The top selected participants of “Think!” will be invited to participate in these technical festivals and discuss their ideas with the most elite group of industrialists, professors and scholars.
Students will also get a chance to interact personally with the researchers working at Function Space and an exposure to the next initiatives and new streams and features that are going to be integrated in Function Space, in the coming time.
