Department of Information & Public Relations, Govt. of Bihar, recently ran a unique PR Campaign called – “BADH CHALA BIHAR”. Uniqueness of the campaign lies in its widest on ground coverage within short span of time.This campaign was Worlds’ first largest democratic Public Relations campaign.
The campaign called “BADH CHALA BIHAR” was meant to ensure public participation and to inform people about government’s development in recent past years. The campaign was also focused to collect real on ground issues concerned with basic human needs like – roads, electricity, schools etc.
This campaign was carried out in all 40,000+ villages of Bihar to reach 4,00,00,000 people of the State. It took 40+ days to reach out to the masses through 404 numbers of branded trucks. These trucks were equipped with TV sets, music systems, microphones and speakers. Each truck was led by a “GPS Tracking System”. Short audio/visual clips was played at all locations, which gave a short overview of government’s efforts towards inclusive development. Representatives of the team moved from village to village and showcased Bihar government’s achievements.
