Kenstar, the home appliances major now have a complete range of 11 models of Air Conditioners. The company offers small to large and split to window models, which makes it a very comprehensive range in the market. Kenstar will now be visible in different models, price and sub segments of ACs which makes it a serious and competitive player in this category.
Additionally, Kenstar has also introduced a brand new technological innovation called the "Ice Factor". This innovation is an answer to the Indian summer; a superior technology that promises really cool temperatures that stay that way.

ICE FACTOR: Intense Cooling Efficiency Factor
For the first time, Kenstar introduces ICE factor for air-conditioners. Three advanced technologies have come together to make ICE factor the most intense cooling system ever. These are:
* Compressor Efficiency: The performance of the compressor in Kenstar ACs surpasses that of others because of its superior quality and higher BTUs (British Thermal Unit). For instance, where the BTUs of a 1.5-ton AC should be 18000, it is 19300 in a Kenstar AC. Effectively, it has a cooling capacity of a 1.6-ton AC and cools much more and much faster.
* Advanced Heat Exchanger Technology: Kenstar ACs have superior heat exchange effectiveness. This is mainly due to the slit louvered fins and grooved copper tubing. These two technologies work together to ensure that maximum surface area is available to the refrigerant for faster heat transfer. This keeps the room very cool at all times.
* Bend Coil Technology: The unique bend coil technology facilitates faster cooling compared to conventional ACs with straight coils. This is a result of the 25% increase in surface area on condenser and evaporator coils leading to faster heat absorption from the room.
Kenstar has also introduced 6 different models of remote controlled Air Conditioners. The models available are divided into window and split Air Conditioners.

These models are made of a thicker gauge sheet metal body as compared to other brands in the market with the presence of 25% more zinc coating for anti- corrosion on the sheet metal. The presence of Epoxy and Polyester coating on sheet metal parts from inside and outside for anti rust and anti-corrosion gives these Air Conditioners an edge over others. Other initiatives offered by the Company are excellent after sales service with a strong network of 680 service outlets across the country supported by 31 Kenstar branches. A facility of 0% finance for customers with leading financial institutions like ICICI, GE Countrywide is offered for the convenience of customers.
The window ACs are priced between 16,000 to 22,000 and the split AC's are priced between 27,000 to 34,000 approximately. (Prices may vary from State to State)
Today the company has the active support of 4,200 direct dealers and 1,800 SSD's (sales and service dealers) selling Kenstar ACs.
