Cinemax to launch multiplex in Kandivli, Mumbai

Cinema has an altogether new meaning, new themes, innovative marketing, techno savvy directors and totally new settings. And in this existing scenario, Cinemax is the largest chain Multiplexes in Mumbai comprising of nine Multiplexes and 24 screens and tenth one will be added on to the count at Growel Mall in Kandivali on Thursday, January 26, 2006

Cinemax started its journey in December 1997 with a Goregaon, which paved the way for other Multiplexes to follow. Then followed Cinemax’s expansion by opening multiplexes in Kandivali West Andheri East, Sion Circle, Thane, Mira Road, Nasik.Cinemax, Cinemax at Infiniti Mall, Versova in Andheri west.

The soon to be launched Cinemax multiplex at Growel will have seating capacity of 1318 seats with stylish designed front foyer and intelligent lighting. This spacious Multiplex has all the upmarket amenities and state-of –the art interiors. It has four screens. Out of these the Gold Screen offers Recliner seats and plush sofa seats. These recliner seats go back up to 150 degrees giving a viewer a feeling of watching a film in an aircraft. Apart from the seating, the acoustic systems will enhance the experience of movie watching. With the shopping mall and regular events at the premise, this destination will always be buzzing with activities.

Cinemax Multiplex so far has seen some high flying Premiers including the red carpet for Jacki Chan, ethnic and true to its theme for Shaadi No.1, Salaam Namaste, Hanuman, Kyon Ki etc. And the recent grand premiere lined-up on the 25th January is for Rang De Basanti at Versova, Infinity.
