Sony Ericsson launches limited-edition WTA Tour Tennis mobiles

Sony Ericsson, one of the world’s fastest growing innovative global brands in the mobile handset industry, and the global title sponsor of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, today launched the Limited Edition collection of tennis camera phones. The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour limited edition mobile range was unveiled by tennis sensation Sania Mirza and other Sony Ericsson WTA Tour players, and represents another innovative element of Sony Ericsson’s global sponsorship of the Tour designed to bring fans and the sports stars closer together.

The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour limited edition mobile handsets are embedded with unique customised content in the form of wallpapers of leading stars at the Tour. Handsets available as a part of this campaign are the K750i, the K600i, the Z520i, the K700i and the K300i. The WTA limited edition handset range from Sony Ericsson, are all camera phones and are the best in the category. These phones will enable consumers to capture perfect shots not just on the court but also off it.

Sony Ericsson has also kick-started a nation-wide SMS-based contest whereby one lucky winner will receive the Special Edition K750i 2megapixel cameraphone with auto focus. There are other exciting prizes in the form of Sony Ericsson WTA Tour souvenirs and memorabilia. The contest is open till February 25th, 2006.
