Assam Company signs JV with Austine-based DMS Exploration

World's first tea company, Assam Company Limited (A member of Duncan Macneill Group, London) has signed a Joint Venture pact with Austine based DMS Explorations recently.

When asked about the JV company Dr K K Jajodia, Chairman of Assam Company Ltd said “This new company Austin Explorations Limited will establish an energy security for society and human progress by leaveraging technology, the values of excellence and enterprise of a heritage of over 160 years of Assam Company Limited”. Austine Exploration will be a major Global player in oil and gas industry based on the expertise and experience the two companies have. The company will be headquartered in Austine with offices in Delhi, London and Adelaide. Chairman of Assam Company Ltd. Dr. K. K. Jajodia will be the chairman of Austin Explorations Ltd. and President of DMS Exploration David Schuette will be the President of Austine Exploration Limited based at Austine.

Assam Company Limited, the Indian partner in the joint venture has a tremendous track record for which the Austine Company has come forward to forge the pact. ACL is the Second Company in the world to drill oil well during 1800s after Drake well discovery in Pennsylvania. ACL is the second oldest refining company in the world. It is worth mentioning that ACL is the First tea company in the world operating since 1839.

Spearheaded by Dr Jajodia, presently ACL is a Global player in Oil & Gas, Tea and Energy sector with activities in Australia, US,UK besides India. The Company is working towards achieving its motto “Once a pioneer always a pioneer” a senior official said.
