Manhattan Film Academy New York teams with ECMIT Dubai

After the huge success of it’s first three film making workshops in 2005/2006, the Manhattan Film Academy, New York, has partnered with ECMIT Dubai again to offer a series of film making related workshops in Dubai starting June 20, 2006.

Manhattan Film Academy (www.mfacademy.com)--a New York City based collaborative of award winning Oscar & Emmy-nominated American & European filmmakers—offers, in collaboration with ECMIT (www.ecmit.ac.ae)- Emirates Center for Management & Information Technology, Dubai, a series of intensive hands-on workshops in film production beginning June 2006. The programs( in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Sound & Picture Editing and Acting) will be offered at the ECMIT campus in Dubai and will give students a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of filmmaking & film production: writing, directing, cinematography, editing, development, pre production, production, and postproduction, directly from accomplished professional American & European filmmakers.

Registrations (on a first come first served basis) for the June 06 workshop is now open and seats are limited for each workshop. The MFA-ECMIT Collaboration plans to offer specialized courses in film making all through the year.
