MANGO, Spain’s most international fashion company, is continuing its expansion in India with the opening of two new retail outlets in Mumbai. The plan to open new stores is part of the brand’s international expansion strategy to strengthen its commercial presence by adding 650 m2 of selling space.

The first store, which opened on 26 March, is located on Linking Road in Bandra, one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Mumbai. In accordance with MANGO’s latest trends, the design of the new store is characterised by the presence of warm touches of colours such as beige and brown which combined with the stone floor give the store a very nice and welcoming aspect. The second store opens on 28 March at the Atria Mall, in the heart of Mumbai City. The elegant ambiance of the store has been created by the use of grey tones, walls lined with mirrors, flooring in basalt stone and a specific lighting which confers to the shop a minimalist and refined aspect.

Another two stores will be added to the recent openings, to be located at the Select Citywalk Mall in New Delhi and at the Phoenix Mall in Mumbai. MANGO’s first Indian store was inaugurated in Mumbai in 2001 and with these new openings the company has now five outlets in India, three in Mumbai and one in the cities of New Delhi and Bangalore.

Isak Halfon, MANGO’s Head of Expansion, affirmed that our collaboration with Major Brands PVT. LTD. as our franchisee has been crucial to successfully introduce the brand in India, as they perfectly know the market. India will definitely be a major country in the future and we are committed to MANGO’s commercial development in that country.
