New Update

ZEE News now has a new logo and a new advertising campaign. To reiterate the channel's commitment to bring the truth to its viewers, ZEE News in association with its advertising agency, Leo Burnett, has launched a campaign - "Haqeeqat Jaisi, Khabar Waisi" (meaning news is the way reality is).

The campaign will encompass TV, print, outdoor, radio and other media. Talking about the campaign, Laxmi Goel, director, News Group, ZEE Telefilms, said, "This is part of our continuous process of evolving the ZEE News brand, so that it continues to remain relevant, vibrant and in turn positively impact the people."

The ZEE News brass feels it is a clutter breaking idea. "In a situation where there are multiple news channels, each making different claims to the viewer, this is a vital differentiator. ZEE News stands for unbiased, independent, responsible journalism, free of distortion or sensationalism. It always seeks to tell its audience authentic stories - which are relevant to their lives - in an engaging way."

Elaborating on thought behind the campaign Jayshree Sundar, executive director, Leo Burnett, says, "The positioning is based on a deep understanding of ZEE News's brand values and a thorough study of the news channel market. 'Haqeeqat Jaisi, Khabar Waisi' strongly emphasises the fact that for ZEE News, news is not just a business but a mission."

Along with the campaign, ZEE News has launched a new logo. The new logo retains the ZEE name in yellow, but the background colour has been changed to red. The new logo clearly communicates the 'robust' and 'passionate' nature of the channel.
