The star of Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, The Legend of Drunken Master and many more action movies, Jackie Chan, is going to star on Discovery Channel. Jackie Chan takes the viewers on a 'one-of-a-kind tour' of his birthplace in Jackie Chan's Hong Kong on Discovery Channel.
The programme airs as part of Friday Spotlight on September 19, 2003, from 9.00 pm to 10.00 pm with a rerun on Sunday, September 21, from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm, and on Friday, September 26, from 11.00 am to 12 noon.
Although Hollywood is Jackie Chan's new hometown, Hong Kong will always be his true love. Chan has kept close ties with Hong Kong and takes the viewers on a personal tour that reveals all the city's hidden treasures.
From the citys skyscrapers, shops, temples, the Star Ferry that takes passengers across the Hong Kong Harbour to Victoria's Peak (which offers the best view of the city), to the Hollywood Road antique shops, Jackie Chan is there throughout entertaining his viewers.
