Hungama TV’s Pyjama Pakdo Contest records over 1.1 million entries

Hungama TV does it again! The on-air summer contest “Pyjama Pakdo” registered a record of over 1.1 million entries from children across the country making it one of the most successful interactive on-air events ever on kids’ television.

The contest began on May 7 on Hungama TV wherein kids were invited to help police the channel and catch the wicked pyjamas that escaped the high security central laundry! To join the Pyjama Pakdo Force, kids had to spot these dangerous Pyjamas through the day on Hungama TV; once they noted the unique code on the pyjama’s laundry tag, they had to quickly report back to the channel by calling in or sending an SMS.

Kids across India took up the challenge and each caught as many pyjamas everyday for the past 4 weeks and registered a chance to win lots of exciting prizes. Everyday, 20 lucky kids won Binoculars, Digital Radio, Gaming CD from ZAPAK.COM and Tiffin box from Kelloggs Chocos. The Pyjama Pakdo Contest got even bigger once the kids got rewarded for collecting maximum points to win - Skateboards, Walkie Talkie sets, Audio-video player, funky bike from BSA Champ were all being given away as they scored at each level. And the grand prize is an all expense paid trip for two to Singapore which will be announced soon!
