The melodious voice of peppy radio jockey’s, the familiarity of their mother tongue, lots of gossip, news, views, scintillating melodies, latest soundtracks and more. And where do they find all this, only on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, it’s truly ‘HOT’. Radio Mirchi has established a dominant lead in early research reports in Bhopal.
According to the Car Track conducted by IMRB in Bhopal on June 13th, in car listener ship to radio was as high as 72%. Among the radio stations, Mirchi led the pack with 51% share, followed by MY FM (Dainik Bhaskar) (24%), Big FM (17%) and Lake City FM (8%).
Commenting on the results, Vishal Mudgal, Station Head, Bhopal said “Car Track is a research methodology designed and developed by IMRB for Radio Mirchi to measure listener ship in cars using a coincidental check methodology. Car Tracks have been done for the last 5 years in all cities in which Radio Mirchi operates and is a very good indication of how household listener ship patterns will bear out. It is clear that a great product and brand like Radio Mirchi backed by a great launch would be the winner.” He added that although the competition threw in more resources to back their launches, including the support of the leading newspaper in Bhopal to one of the competitors, ultimately it was the brand and the product that would be the winner.
