It can’t get any better! VH1, India’s only international music & lifestyle channel, brings the biggest and the longest International Music Concert – ‘Live Earth’ – ‘LIVE’ to Indian audiences. From Saturday, starting July 7 at 2:30 p.m., the concert will be aired LIVE on Vh1.

That’s 24 hours of LIVE Entertainment…to witness over 100 artists including Madonna, Sir Elton John, Roger Waters, The Police, Black Eyed Peas, Duran Duran, James Blunt, Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park, Rihanna, Sasha, Wolfmother, Genesis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Smashin Pumpkins, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys, Sheryl Crow, AKON, Ludacris amongst many others, perform for over 2 billion people across the world. These concerts will be held at US (New York), Australia(Sydney), Brazil (Rio De Jeneiro), South Africa (Johannesburg), UK (London), Japan (Tokyo), China (Shanghai) and Germany(Hamburg).

Live Earth is a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series taking place on 7/7/07 that will bring together more than 100 music artists and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.

Live Earth is a project of the SOS campaign , which is using a powerful multimedia platform - films, television, radio, Internet, books, wireless and others - to move people to combat the climate crisis. The mission of the SOS campaign is to empower individuals to change their consumer behaviors and motivate corporations and political leaders to enact decisive measures to combat the climate crisis. The message of SOS is that everyone, everywhere can and must Answer the Call to solve the climate crisis.
