Confetti, the Couples magazine launches India’s first ever Green Issue!

After carving a premium position in the market and establishing itself as India’s first and only couples’ fashionable lifestyle magazine, Confetti has now ventured into the realm of eco-awareness with the launch of its July issue. With a very creative and unique cover, where the models are draped in nothing but green, this issue of Confetti is out there to make a difference in our lives, and to show everyone how easy it is to go green.

“It’s time we, as Indians, do something to save our precious environment. Look around and you’d see that there are so many negative impacts mankind has on our planet, and yet we don’t do anything to save it. Surprisingly, most of us don’t even know what should be done to save the world. Most of us think we need to go overboard by the next morning and stop drinking water, stop driving cars or travelling, stop cooking and dressing up to save the world. The fear of losing their comfort makes people snub the idea of a new world. But it’s not that hard to save the world, it’s actually the easiest thing to do. And that’s what we’re trying to speak out in this issue of Confetti,” says Vinod Srinivas, Editor-In-Chief of Confetti.

Articles inside Confetti, the Couples magazine address pressing issues that matter to the environment, along with interesting reads to help an urban Indian understand the dire consequences of our unrealised errors. The Green Issue speaks out about the problems faced by millions of people all across the world and how little changes on our part can save billions on lives in a couple of decades. The magazine also covers eco-articles and the new green trends in fashion, and other facts and tips to make our planet a greener one.

It will only be a matter of time before the Green revolution picks up steam in India, but it definitely will. Preeti Tewari, Managing Director of Confetti adds, “This generation of mankind probably wields the most power in human history. We could either wipe out the earth as we know it, or we could save a planet that we call our Mother. We have the armour to protect our world, but unfortunately, we’re so overconfident about our own existence that we don’t even want to know how to strap the armour on. We launched this issue of Confetti to show just how to shield the world in our own little ways.”

Confetti has also initiated an online version of the magazine, which is circulated amongst a database of 2.2 million readers all over the world. The online format which can be “flipped” through on the screen contains all the pages of the magazine including the covers, and the advertisements.
