What is the one common factor between Shakira, Britney Spears, Beyonce Knowles, Janet Jackson that has made them such a global phenomenon? They are ultimate performers who have been wooing their fans with an attitude that has made singing and dancing - the two eternal favourite passions of every girl, seem like a dream.

Zoom, India's premiere glamour and entertainment channel and Sunsilkgangofgirls.com, from Hindustan Unilever ltd., have come together to launch a brand new television series Sunsilk Gang of Girls ' Spotlight Mein' that will present four talented girls from around the country with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Starting 27th September, this 13-part reality series will air exclusively on Zoom, every Thursday at 8.00 p.m. It promises to be a refreshing change with no sms vote outs, no judges, no drama, no rivalry, no fictional fights, but will reveal how the gang of four girls live their dreams, hone their talent and personalities besides co-existing as a gang and learning to perform on stage - in front of a live audience.

During the selection process, some girls were great at singing, some had great attitude, some were really enthusiastic about the chance of performing on television, but the lucky foursome - Ambili Gopakumar from Mumbai, Danielle Rebello from Mumbai, Supriya Joshi from Aligarh, Abhinanda Sarkar from Kolkata were different from the league with an ‘X' factor that just begged for our attention. They have great power house voices, the right looks and killer attitudes to set the stage on fire.

One house, four girls and four mentors. These mentors will work with the girls in their singing, fitness, grooming and performance. All of this for the finale – the DNA of the show: the performance. Seasoned professionals from the Indian music, entertainment and fashion fraternity who will guide them through this process include music mentors – Manasi Scott and Baba Saigal, fitness mentor - Mickey Mehta their Holistic Health guru, grooming mentor - Lascelles Symons and performance mentor - Sandip Soparkar.

The show will be hosted by Manish Valicha and will have celebrity guests including Shaan, Raageshwari, Varun & Rajeshwari Badola, Manav Gohil & Shweta Kawatraa, Aasma giving tips, luck and guidance to the four girls.

'Sunsilk Gang of Girls Spotlight Mein' will be a 13-episode series followed by a grand finale with the vivacious 4 putting up an energy packed, entertaining performance in front of an exclusive live audience.
