The fourth edition of the popular POGO original production and signature event – POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 is back with a bang! Adding another first to its list of achievements, of being the country’s premiere and only televised and dedicated kids’ awards show, POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 will be hosted by the acclaimed actor Aamir Khan. This will be the first time in the history of Indian cinema that Aamir Khan will be hosting any show. Darsheel, Aamir’s young and talented co-actor from his forthcoming kids’ movie Taare Zameen Par, will co-host the awards with him. POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 will telecast, exclusively on POGO on 29 December at 6:00 p.m.

The awards consist of multiple categories within two main sections, namely--POGO Kids Awards, that rewards kids who accomplish extraordinary talent and POGO Voice Awards that empowers kids with the right of choosing their favourite icons. Culminating in a grand awards gala, showcasing high-energy performances, the awards have consistently been growing in size and stature. This year, 24 talented kids from across the country will battle it out for the coveted title of the ‘POGO amazing Kid’ across eight diverse categories including arts, sports, music, singing, dance, genius, leadership and entertainment! These remarkable kids are being profiled on their favourite channel, POGO, starting November 19th, 2007. The winners will be awarded with a child benefit policy worth Rs Five lakhs each and win loads of goodies.

POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 gives an opportunity to kids across the country to realize their dreams and fulfill their aspirations. Similar to Aamir Khan’s forthcoming movie, Taare Zameen Par, POGO Amazing Kids’ Awards 2007 will also capture diverse interests of children and enable them to express their hidden talents and boost their confidence levels. When asked about his association with POGO, Aamir Khan said, “Kids have always been a source of inspiration and strength to me. I believe that there is a star in every kid, and a platform to boost their confidence levels and express their hidden talents is very important.” Instituted by POGO in December 2004, POGO Amazing Kids Awards is the first-ever kids’ television award. The Awards recognise child prodigies and rewards them for their outstanding achievements in multiple areas of excellence such as arts, leadership, sports, etc. Kids are also empowered to exercise their choice, and vote for their favourite icons from the world of music, sports, movies and television.
