Hindi daily NaiDunia has declared Leadership position in Central India’s Business hub, Indore, the place newspaper originated from, on basis of a Private Survey. Presently on a rapid expansion spree, this was a long-awaited crowning stroke for NaiDunia. “We worked rigorously on brand repositioning and innovated as per reader’s expectations keeping intact the legacy of value based Journalism. We slashed the cover price of the daily from Rs.2 to Re.1 in Indore city which proved to be icing on the cake and in end got us on the top”, says jubilant Vineet Sethia, Director, NaiDunia.
Enjoying the undisputed and unchallenged commanding position for almost five decades, NaiDunia was taken over by nearest rival in late 90s. “Those were troubled times for us. In past two years we formulated restructuring strategies on group level to get the things back on track. We expanded widely, took hard decisions and worked fervently keeping our goals in mind. The position we have regained today is the outcome of untiring & consistent efforts by team NaiDunia” narrates exuberant Vinay Chhajlani, CEO and Director, NaiDunia.
