Vogue India launches its first Spring Summer fashion issue with a bouquet of trends to give fashionistas a kick-start to the season. On stands today, the 25th of February Vogue captures the quintessential girl of summer - Kareena Kapoor in a never seen before avatar.

With a string of critical and commercial successes following her, the legacy of the Kapoors rests lightly on Kareena's shoulders. In an exclusive interview with Vogue India, she talks about new love, style and following a starry destiny.

Kareena arrived at Vogue India's shoot in Mumbai wearing a pink T-shirt and white capris, and went gaga over the Dolce & Gabbana dress that fashion director Anaita Shroff Adajania had selected. "I love D&G!" Kareena exclaimed. With a little help from make-up guru Mickey Contractor, Kareena was transformed into a princess. "I hope it's Vogue's best cover ever!"

Says Priya Tanna, Editor Vogue India, "Kareena's performance as Geet in Jab We Met created 2007's most endearing and effervescent Bollywood character by far. She really is in full bloom, with her new success, film, man, body and age suiting her perfectly.
