ZEE Interactive sets up IT training centre for Maharashtra police

ZEE Network's education wing has set up an Information Technology training centre inside the premises of the Maharashtra State Police Headquarters in Mumbai. The purpose is to train police officials in the MS-CIT (Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology) course for which ZILS or ZEE Interactive Learning Systems Ltd. is an empanelled training provider.

Included within the course are modules on computer fundamentals, MS Office, Windows, Internet and multimedia. The course is of 132 hours duration extended over three months. On successful completion, officials will be awarded a joint certification from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) and ZILS.

Apart from an exclusive centre in Mumbai, ZILS will impart MS-CIT training across the state through its network of 78 centres.
