Action, emotion and animation come together in this fun filled afternoon on Sunday April 06th 2008 from 1:00 pm onwards. Veer Yodha Prithiviraj Chauhan is a contemporary saga from the battle field of Indian history and Ramayana -Shri Ram Katha depicts the journey of the life of the seventh incarnation of lord Vishnu – Ram.

Synopsis

Veer Yodha Prithiviraj Chauhan

The animated version showcases that chapter from the history when Muhammed Ghori of Ghazni eyed the enormous wealth of Delhi, but was unaware of the ruler of Delhi. Muhammed Ghori made 16 futile attempts to conquer Delhi but always got defeated at the hands of Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chahuhan. But Ghori was not ready to give up even if he had to attack again and again. In Kannauj, King Jaichand organizes the swayamvar of his beloved daughter Sanyogita and invites all the Kings of India except Prithviraj Chauhan, as he was the only king who refused to bow to Jaichand. In a dramatic manner Prithviraj charges into the swayamvar and flees with his beloved Sanyogita. Now Prithviraj Chauhan had two enemies. Jaichand plotted to take revenge against Prithviraj Chauhan at any cost, he played a trick which changed the history of India. He decided to join hands with Muhammad Ghori against Prithviraj Chauhan!

That’s Prithviraj Chauhan, great warrior with his courage and bravery fought for his motherland against all odds.

Ramayana – Shri Ram Katha

Ramayana – Shri Ram Katha showcases the era of Lord Ram when he dutifully obeys his father. He along with Sita and Lakshman were set off to the forest where various episodes occur including meeting Bharat in Panchavati, the unfortunate incident with Shoorpanka, Sita being Kidnapped by Ravan and taken to Lanka, Ram’s encounter with Hanuman and other monkeys, building up the bridge to reach Lanka and the memorable battle with Ravan’s Armies.
