'BIG Ice Cream Marathon' on BIG 92.7 FM Hyderabad dips rising mercury levels

It is summer time and hence difficult to stop BIG FM listeners binging on ice-creams. Continuing it's entertaining and cooling spikes every summer after 'Cool Maal Dhamaal' received an over-whelming response last year, BIG FM Hyderabad in keeping with the vibe of the city has come up with yet another innovative contest called the 'BIG Ice cream Marathon'.

The 'BIG Ice-cream Marathon', a test for the cool and brainy listeners will begin on April 29 till May 05, 2008. Through this innovative and fun-filled contest listeners get to win 100 litres of ice cream every hour at the Stations' very popular breakfast show 'BIG Sandadi' hosted by RJ Shekar. 1 lucky listener wins a refrigerator full of ice- cream in each hour of the break fast show. RJ Shekar treats cool and brainy listeners with loads of ice-cream on his show.

It's not over, taking the on-air action to streets, RJ Shekar will invite the listeners to participate in the big cool brain challenge where the contestant who eats the maximum ice-cream in 3 minutes takes home 92.7 litres of ice-cream. Getting innovative, the stations OB van becomes an ice cream bandi and BIG RJs Srijyothi, Adonica, Krish and Ishika will go around the town taking the bandi to different hang-out places, people who spot and stops the bandi get to eat ice-cream to their heart's content.
