HomeShop18.com has been recognized as the best shopping website in the country by the leading technology magazine PC World. It stood out amongst stiff competition with renowned competitors like E bay India, FutureBazaar, Rediff shopping, Indya Mall and more. HomeShop18.com was launched in August, 2007 under Network18’s credible umbrella.
The magazine in its latest issue says “HomeShop18 won the top spot amongst all shopping websites because of its contents, products, prices and diverse portfolios and was adjudged an excellent shopping experience. The colours were bright, the layout clean and easy to navigate. The homepage had good graphics and on the inner pages the colours are good and the layout is not cluttered with heavy graphics. The product description is crisp and yet comprehensive"
In its second year, the ‘PC World’ awards focuses on 57 websites across 31 popular categories in the internet domain. On the criteria of evaluation, PC World’ says “Our experts rated sites on two levels - design and usability. Design included colours, typography, visual appeal, consistency. Usability took account interactivity and customization in India.
