In yet another pioneering initiative, Bengalurina Radio City 91.1FM, is

premiering a first-of-its-kind radio film ‘Chitranna’ exclusively for the Bangalore’s Radio Cityzens today. Created by Radio City’s in-house talent, this first-ever 10 minute radio film ‘Chitranna’ is a ‘Whatte Fun’ tribute to Bangalore’s top Kannada stars Upendra, Vishnuvardhan and Shruthi who all celebrate their birthday today. Capturing the essence of life in Bangalore, this fun radio film features voice talents emulating these top 3 Kannada stars who have never being brought together in a movie before.

This radio film premieres with an interview with Superstar Upendra on ‘Whatte Fun Mornings’ (7-11 AM) on Sept 18 where he chats with RJs Kiran and Varsha on his birthday plans, his inspiration behind the hit song ‘Chitraanna’ (O.S.T: Budhivanta) and delivers popular dialogues from his previous hits ‘A’ and ‘Rakthakanniru’. Listeners can catch segments of ‘Chitranna’ which will be aired exclusively all through the day on Bengalurina Radio City 91.1FM from September 18-19, 2008.
