This Saturday Star Plus celebrates love with the four mesmerizing couples of BIDAAI – Sadhna, Alekh, Ragini & Ranvir on Amul Star Voice of India, Sept 20th, 10 p.m. Ragini and Ranvir again meet at this musical platform, but will they acknowledge their love for each other? Shaadi being the theme of the evening, the melodious contestants of Amul Voice of India instigate the romantic mood as all of them will croon to Bollywood’s hit shaadi numbers.

Sadhna, Alekh, Ragini & Ranvir dazzled the show as they kick started the evening with a dance performance on ‘Sona Sona’ along with the contestants of the show. This was followed by the first performance of the evening by Saptaparna. She gave a flawless performance singing ‘Asa Hun’ and declared that she being the only child of her parents, doesn’t want to get married and stay with her parents forever. This emotional note touched the hearts of the celeb guests and the judges.

Zakir gave a power packed performance as he sang ‘Dulhe ka Sehra’. He called on stage his wife and repeated their marriage vows to her. Zakir’s performance entertained one and all leaving Ranvir & Ragini completely awestruck. The charming contestant Ravi was spellbound as a female fan came and proposed to him after his superb performance on ‘Tainu leke main jaunga’. Ragini liked his presentation and Sadhna asked him about his female fan following.

Shaan teased Ragini and suggested her to go ahead and confess her love to the person she speaks on phone. But Ragini declined and was happy with the way the romance was shaping up. The other contestant of the show Rohit did perfect justice when he sang to the tune of ‘Mujhse shaadi karogi’. This performance made the judges sway on their seats. Ritisha sang the touching number ‘Sabki baraatein ayi’ which turned Ragini emotional as she found the song completely apt for her character in Bidaai. The last contestant of the evening, Vipul sang ‘Chalo re doli uthao’. Sukhwinder came on stage and performed on a Punjabi bidaai number.

Amongst all these heart wrenching performances, a very sensitive AV was shown featuring the family of a dowry victim whom Ritisha had recently visited. This was the same family whose father had come to this show and had thanked Vinti for taking up such a noble cause. The entire Bidaai team spoke about the relevance of this show in the current scenario and how badly a girl and her family can be affected due to this criminal practice.

There was a sense of strong resentment expressed amongst the parents of eliminated contestants. They were not happy with the audience voting patterns and failed to understand why deserving contestants like Vinti, Mallar and Rahul were eliminated just on the basis of votes.
