Kids rock at 'Pogo To Go' event held at Manav Rachna International School

City kids got a fantastic opportunity to meet and spend time with their favourite toon stars at an exciting, fun-filled event – 'POGO To Go' organised by India’s favourite kids’ channel Pogo at one of Gurgoan’s premier school Manav Rachna International (MRIS) on Sunday, November 16, 2008. MRIS was also the presenting sponsor of the event as it was in sync with their school’s philosophy of learning is fun. Kids and their parents got the special opportunity to spend time with the popular POGO toon stars and were completely captivated by the entertaining performances by Chamki, Googly, Noddy and Bob The Builder at the exclusive event. Shashank– the winner of the POGO Amazing Musician Kid (2006) mesmerized everyone with his Sarod performance.

As a special treat, Rob, host of POGO’s hugely popular show - M.A.D. (Music, Arts and Dance), made a special appearance at the event. Rob made an on-the-spot painting for his fans and also held a special art workshop for his ardent fans and the Manav Rachna School students. Aimed to engage viewers beyond television “POGO To Go” event organised by Pogo, was a grand affair with loads of fun, frolic and fanfare. The adorable cartoon characters enthralled all as they danced to foot-tapping music ensuring that over 8000 people cheered and danced along.

There was more entertaining stuff in-store for the whole family with some interesting off-stage games such as “Game On Toh Bheem On”, 'Get, Set, Wall', “Its Rabbit Season Or Duck Season?”, “Make Way For Noddy”, “Seekhne Ka Naya Andaaz“ and various other outdoor sports activities such as – “Takeshi`s Minefield”, “Pogo Bounce Higher”, “Gutsy Who?”. The gala day came to an end with all the toons - Chamki, Googly, Noddy and Bob The Builder – performed together. Winners of the various games were given exclusive POGO goodies as prizes. More than 50 lucky draws were announced, all of which were sponsored by the Manav Rachna Group.
