Playhouse Disney Block on Disney Channel will herald the New Year with a new engaging show - Bunny Town starting on February 02, 2009 at 8:00 AM. Targeted at kids between the ages of two to five and their parents, Playhouse Disney is a pioneering programming destination for preschoolers on Disney Channel, encouraging them to 'Imagine and Learn'.
The latest addition to the Playhouse Disney block, Bunny Town is a busy world populated by the Funny Bunnies- a group of laughter-loving, gleefully bouncy, puppet bunnies. The Funny Bunnies think their neighbors in People Town are enormously entertaining, and they can't get enough of observing the extremely silly things they do. Through song, dance and mad-cap hilarity, the Funny Bunnies and their People friends will keep preschoolers laughing and learning at the same time.
Antoine Villeneuve, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Walt Disney Television International (India) said, "Playhouse Disney is based on established curriculum developed by early childhood experts. This programming is designed to help parents raise well-rounded children through confidence-building tasks and foster learning through age-appropriate tools and experiences."

The learning-focused Playhouse Disney programming block on Disney Channel currently showcases award winning shows such as Mickey Mouse Club House, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Little Einsteins and Jojo's Circus.
