MySpace India introduces 'MySpace Nights at Blue Frog'

Music lovers in Mumbai can now rejoice! MySpace - the world’s premiere social portal & one of the most iconic global youth brand has joined hands with Blue Frog – Mumbai’s premiere live music performance club to promote independent music in India. Beginning this May, one can catch the coolest bands and most cutting edge artists performing at the ‘MySpace Nights at Blue Frog’. The first show will see Kolkata based band ‘Urban Reflektions’ perform on Tuesday May 19th at 9:00 pm at Blue Frog.

‘MySpace Nights at Blue Frog’ is an endeavor to encourage independent music and musicians in the country across diverse genres like rock, pop, jazz, hip-hop, indi-pop and other non-bollywood music categories. Each month, MySpace India will select fresh Indian talent present on MySpace and give them an opportunity to perform LIVE at Blue Frog in Mumbai.

Led by Debashish “DEBU” Banerji, ‘Urban Reflektions’ plays Bangla Rock with colours of jazz, funk, R&B, Soul and believes in creating a versatile, colourful and embryonic sound that would reflect the modern ongoing lifestyle and urban funk - rock culture.
