Giving a new high to the excitement surrounding the release of the much awaited Bollywood movie, ‘Wake up Sid’, IBN18 Network presents the ‘Wake up Sid Contest’. The contest invites entries from girls across the country to come up with their best talent and impress the bollywood’s heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor and win an opportunity to have breakfast with him.The contest finalists will get to showcase their talent on an exclusive show judged by Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma. Anchored by Rajeev Masand the show will air a day before the release of the movie on October 01 ’09, only on CNN-IBN, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat.
To facilitate participation IBN18 Network will hold on-ground auditions in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore with Ranbir Kapoor starting September 10th, where the girls can sing, dance or do the wackiest stuff to impress him with their talent. Viewers can even log on to the specially created microsite www.ibnlive.com/wakeupsid to upload their videos and participate in the contest.
The contest that closes on September 26th will have Ranbir Kapoor choose 4 girls from each of the 3 cities and from them shortlist the 3 finalists. These lucky finalists will be flown in to Mumbai where their talent and performances will be judged by Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma in a grand show on CNN-IBN, IBN7 & IBN-Lokmat that will be telecasted on October 1st. The final winner will get the opportunity to have breakfast with Ranbir Kapoor at his residence in Mumbai.
