It is not just back-to-back cricketing action on NEO Cricket. The channel today announced the closure of three deals with international operators- Qatar Cable Vision (Q-Tel), Pacific Broadcasting Services, Destiny Cable Inc. in the Middle East, Fiji and Philippines respectively in an endeavour to expand the channel’s footprint in the international market.
In the Middle East, NEO Cricket jointly with Arab Digital Distribution, the channel’s platform partner have signed the deal with Q-Tel, the only government owned cable network in Qatar. Through this partnership, NEO Cricket aims to reach out to the additional subscriber base in Qatar.
While NEO Cricket’s alliance with Pacific Broadcasting Services will mark the channel’s foray into the Hindi and English speaking households and commercial outlets in Fiji, its tie-up with Destiny Cable Inc. will provide a platform to cater to the South Asian expats in Philippines non-stop cricketing action.
