Challenging all convention, Channel presents an all new reality show, Idea The Player, starting 12th December, every Saturday at 7pm.
10 dangerously motivated Players are hoarded up in a house. The task is to convince each other of why each one of them should get the prize money as against the other and arrive at a unanimous winner. However, as the group gets indecisive, tends to get greedy and eats more time into the game, it is subject to penalties. The inmates are assigned daredevil tasks by the one & only tough task-master Rajiv Lakshman, to win points for themselves and push up their stakes in the game! Or worse still, he gets a few skeletons out of the closet; he reveals a few dirty secrets about them to reduce their stakes in the game! Every time the contestants are not UNANIMOUS in their decision they will be put through tasks and for every second they DON’T reach a unanimous decision, the money meter keeps dipping.
Commenting on show, creator & host Rajiv Lakshman says, "The Player is indeed a giant human experiment; 10 people in a house, 1 crore rupees at stake and only ONE person can win it through a unanimous vote. It is but natural, that a few of the inmates will be greedy and not give up their chances of taking away the money. With its share of coaxing, manipulation and scheming, The Player promises to be a pot-boiler of emotions in a bid to take home the cash."
