Apache vs. Gladiator, Viking vs. Samurai or Spartan vs. Ninja… who would emerge victorious in a battle leading to death? Premiering December 14, Monday nights @ 10PM, FOX History & Entertainment’s exciting new nine-part series, ‘Deadliest Warrior’ pits the most feared warriors, the world has ever known, against each other to determine who reigns supreme.

From the greatest stealth fighters in American History to the crowd-thrilling killers of ancient Rome; the savage Scandinavian raiders to Japan's legendary masters of death; each week, the action packed series examines two groups of the world's most lethal men, analyzing their unique skills of destruction, their strengths, weaknesses and the weapons used. Each episode culminates by pitting the warriors against each other in a computerised battle that calculates a winner using the latest in CGI technology.
Speaking about the series, Sudha Sadhanand, Vice President - Programming, FOX History & Entertainment, said, "Deadliest Warrior takes a complete look into the lives of the most feared warriors in the history and what makes them so lethal. Using the latest in science and technology, the series pits these ancient fighters against each other to offer an unprecedented, action-packed experience to the viewers."

Apache, the greatest stealth fighter in American history versus Gladiator, the thrilling killer of ancient Rome… It is stone versus steel, devious against direct, surprise versus slaughter, as these two go toe to toe in a no-holds barred battle to the death.
Monday, 21st December @ 10:00PM: Viking vs. Samurai
The savage Scandinavian raider class that plundered Europe for almost a thousand years, against the blinding speed and skill of Japan's elite warrior class… It is power versus speed, axe against sword, berserk rage against precision, as these heavily armored legends face off in a battle to the death.
Monday, 28th December @ 10:00PM: Spartan vs. Ninja
Spartan, the bronze battle tank celebrated in the movie 300; versus a Ninja, Japan's legendary master of death. The battle pits the ancient world's most extreme warrior against an enemy who obeys no rules, and kills using stealth, poison, surprise weapons and unbelievable agility.
Monday, 4th January @ 10:00PM: Pirate vs. Knight
Pirate, the merciless high seas marauder; versus a Knight, the armored battle tank that crushed infidels underfoot. It’s an explosive, bloody battle between two fighters who hate each other’s guts - pistols versus crossbow, armor against gunpowder, and cutlass versus a spiked ball of death.
Monday, 11th January @ 10:00PM: Yakuza vs. Mafia
Mafia, the deadly crime family that rule New York’s 1920’s underworld, versus Yakuza, the feared gang lords that dominate the mean streets of 1940’s Tokyo. Their bloody turf war to decide who is deadliest will be settled with machine guns, sawn off shotguns, pistols, bats, nunchuks and icepicks.
