In a glittering awards ceremony attended by various dignitaries, the channel was recognised for its informative, incisive and intelligent programming in the following categories:

NT Awards are amongst the most prestigious awards in the Indian News Television spectrum that are presented to channel programmers, anchors, reporters that include Programming Awards, Personality Awards, Promo Awards, and Special Awards. A distinguished panel of jurors from within and outside the broadcast journalism space shortlisted all the entries and then decided the nominees and the winners.
