UTV World Movies, celebrates the day of laughter and comedy with 'Fools Rush in'. The property on the channel will bring in an exciting experience of nonstop four comedy movies on 1st April, 2010 from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
On this special day, Ms. Manasi Sapare, Programming Head, UTV World Movies, says, "The spirit of laughter and comedy is seen across the world. Comedy is also one of the most universal and popular themes in cinema throughout history and even today."
Skritek - A family of villagers moves up in the world - to the county seat. Dad works as a butcher; mom is a checker at a supermarket. The daughter is at odds with her homeroom teacher, while the son - a vegetarian, anarchist, and avid pothead. However much mom tries - visiting the beauty parlor, her psychologist, or even the confessional - her husband shows his interest by moving out. Mom plots revenge. And somehow an imp gets mixed up in it all.
Black cat white cat- In 1995, Emir Kusturica won the Palme D'Or at Cannes for his epic "Underground", which told the tale of 50 war-torn years in his native Yugoslavia. However, when he was attacked by the French press for being not anti-Serb enouhh, he publicly vowed to give up filmmaking.
Tais Toi - After hiding his loot and getting thrown in jail, Ruby, a brooding outlaw encounters Quentin, a dim-witted and garrulous giant who befriends him. After Quentin botches a solo escape attempt, they make a break together. Unable to shake the clumsy Quentin Ruby is forced to take him along as he pursues his former partners in crime to avenge the death of the woman he loved and get to the money before they do.
Les Truffes - In this French slapstick comedy, the intoxicated boxer, is beaten again to a pulp in the ring and he decides to head for the Mediterranean resort of Norbonne where his brother owns a pizza wagon. En route he teams up with an aspiring con man, who has a similar story to tell. As they travel southward, they meet many odd characters and have a variety of madcap adventures.
