Mirchi offered a musical treat with 'Kabhi Kabhie'

Kabhi Kabhie, the romantic super hit film of 70's was brought alive on the silver screen again after almost three decades as part of the Purani Jeans Film Festival. Radio Mirchi listeners experienced the musical fiesta on Saturday at PVR Goregaon as the third film of the film festival was shown to a packed house.

Khayyaam Saab, the veteran composer who also composed music to this film graced the occasion with his presence. The musical genius attended the screening with his wife, son and daughter in law. RJ Anmol, who had interviewed Khayyam Saab as part of the legends series, thanked him in front of the full house, for attending the screening and making it a truly special one. Khayyam Saab in turn congratulated RJ Anmol for such a great initiative. The veteran music director said that Kabhi Kabhie was one of his favourite films and credited the success behind the beautiful music to legendary singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Mukesh and Kishore Kumar.

Also present at the screening was Indian Idol 5 winner, Sreeram along with other finalists. Sreeram crooned the most memorable song, 'Kabhi Kabhie mere dil mein' with his friends joining him in chorus.
