Plunge into more extreme adventures with Bear Grylls this February with a new season of MAN VS. WILD. Discovery Channel announces an action packed marathon of new episodes of its No. 1 rated series MAN VS. WILD to air every night at 9 pm, starting February 7th. Each of the new episodes presents Grylls with challenges in the wilderness unlike ever before - from being buried alive in an avalanche to escaping a deserted island on a bamboo windsurfer to scavenging for and eating raw insects and fish.

In the new season, Grylls travels to remote locales around the globe, including Australia's northern territory, the Republic of Georgia's Caucasus Mountains, a deserted island south of Papua New Guinea, the snowfields of the Canadian Rockies, and others, sharing invaluable survival strategies all along the way. The new premieres include a special MAN VS. WILD episode - titled Fan Vs. Wild - in which Grylls takes two viewers along with him for the first time on the series to experience extreme survival firsthand.
Along the way, he braves the biting cold, treks through desolate deserts, encounters dangerous predators, and for food he has to make do with whatever he can catch or find - dead or alive!
