After making a dynamic mark, amongst wellnes enthusiasts , Collectors Guide to Spas in India' has deservingly won a National Tourism Award for Excellence in Publishing (English) category

The Awards were distributed on 28th March 2011 in a glittering ceremony at The Ashok, New Delhi. Chief Editor and Publisher Parineeta Sethi received the award from honble Minister of Tourism Subodh Kant Sahai and Meira Kumar, Speaker, Lok Sabha who was the Chief Guest at the awards presentation ceremony. Former Miss world Priyanka Chopra was the Guest of Honour.

Subodh Kant Sahay emphasized that the Ministry's endeavour remains to work hand-in-hand with the industry and sincere towards its genuine demands and it would not hesitate to champion the cause of the industry with various authorities. MoT, Government of India presents National Tourism Awards to various segments of the tourism industry every year. These awards are presented to state governments / Union Territories, classified hotels, heritage hotels, approved travel agents, tour operators and tourist transport operators, individuals and other private organisations in recognition of their performances in their respective fields and also to encourage healthy competition with an aim to promote tourism.

On receiving the award Parineeta Sethi expressed her idea behind Collectors Guide - spas Of India . We have been promoting India as a wellness destination for the past seven years with our flagship magazine asiaSpa India . In the recent times, our efforts have gained momentum because of the increased significance of the wellness sector and hence came up with the coffee table book - Spas of India for all wellness enthusiasts.
