Red FM FM and Suryan FM grab 12 ERA Awards at the 6th India Radio Forum

History repeated itself at the 6th India Radio Forum as Red FM FM Network and Suryan FM grabbed 12 Excellence in Radio Awards. Red FM FM Mumbai bagged the Best FM Station award for the third year in a row. Morning No.1 bagged the award for the Best Breakfast Programme/ Show (Hindi) for the 4th year in a row with RJ Malishka being adjudged the RJ of the Year (Hindi) for the 4th time!!

The much awaited India Radio Forum (IRF) 2011 concluded amidst great fanfare and aplomb yesterday. It was time once again for the stalwarts of the Radio industry to take centre stage. The much awaited awards ceremony was a high octane affair, with Red FM 93.5 FM Network sweeping away maximum number of honors at the IRF this year!

A great encore for Red FM 93.5 FM Network followed after announcing every category as the station for expression kept going back to receive the awards. The station hogged the limelight amidst an air of excitement and cheering as curtains came down with the announcement of the Best FM Station!

Red FM 93.5 FM Network bagged awards like Best Breakfast Show (Hindi); Best RJ of the Year (Hindi). Whereas the extremely popular campaign Malishka Ka Jasoos bagged three awards - Best Creative Campaign; Best Media Campaign and Best interactive Campaign. Red FM FM's Baccha Party Aa Gayee Hai was adjudged the Best Radio Sparkler (Hindi). Red FM FM Hyderabad picked up gold for the Best Radio Promo: In House (Telugu) for its Kitty Party Promo. Suryan FM Chennai won the gold for Best Radio Programme/ Show Packaging- Music Day Jingle. Red FM FM Bangalore also won the award for Most Effective Use of Radio in an Activation Campaign - Stars On Streets Campaign.

In the advertising category, two campaigns executed on Red FM FM picked up awards for Most Outstanding Use of Radio in an Advertising Campaign for Idea Cellular's Muthuswamy Campaign and Best CSR initiative from an Advertiser – Red FM Cares that was sponsoRed FM by Balmer Lawrie. Muthuswamy Campaign was a campaign that combined elements of storytelling and interactivity as listeners across cities came together to help a lovelorn citizen from Chennai hunt for his love in Mumbai. Red FM Cares was a campaign that Red FM FM Kolkata ran wherein we collected old clothes and donated them to destitute people in Kolkata.
