The wait is over! The first of its kind, NDTV Good Times reality show ‘The Hunt For The Kingfisher calendar girl 2012’ will hit your TV screens on October 17th. If you are bored of soap operas and endless dance and song reality shows, tune in to the third season of ‘The hunt for the Calendar girl 2012’, which is more breath taking and engrossing than ever before.
The hunt travels to royal & rustic Udaipur this year. It’s the perfect setting for battles to be won and princesses to emerge. The show draws on various Rajasthani aspects such as a task with a camel, balancing on a thin ramp (a take on the tight rope walkers) and other such activities which bring to light the rich and historic Rajasthani culture.
Thousands of applicants tried their luck to be that one face which could be on the most prestigious and coveted of calendars- Kingfisher Swimsuit Special. After grueling tasks, performances and eliminations at each step, the fortunate 15 have been shortlisted to be on the show and get a chance to win this coveted title. And what makes this season all the more enthralling and interesting are the male judges from the fashion and modeling world- Atul Kasbekar and Milind Soman. Besides them, the hottest men from the industry like Rahul Khanna, Dino Morea, Kunal Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh will be seen judging the new faces. The sultry models will be assessed on the basis of grace, poise, beauty, attitude and of course, their ability to woo the judges.
For a title as sought after as this, the ‘Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl’ witnesses the coming together of the very best. While Terence Lewis choreographed and trained the girls for various dancing acts, Deepesh Bhatt, trainer to Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bacchan, gave fitness training to the girls based on the theme of the week which enabled them to perform their best.
The contestants are versatile and unique in their own ways. They are not just lean, pretty faces - they are ambitious and focused, and determined to outshine the other participants. So on one hand, we have Palak who is a mother and on the other, Ellen who lost 38 kgs to be on the show. We also have Priyanka who hails from a conservative Rajasthani family and dared to don a bikini for the first time. Look out for the daring and outgoing contestants this year!
So watch out for ‘The hunt for the Calendar girl 2012’ on NDTV Good Times, starting October 17th, and see for yourself if the girls are distracted by hot men around them or are they able to survive the competition
