Asianet is all set to telecast "Dasettan @ 50" - an event to celebrate K J Yesudas completing 50 years in the music industry - on February 25 and February 26 at 6.00 PM.
The event hosted by Asianet to celebrate K.J.Yesudas completing 50 years in the music industry brought together legands from music and cinema.M.Balamuralikrishna , V.Dakshinamoorthy, M.K.Arjunan , Ilayaraja, Shyam, Ouseppachan, Rajamani, Vidyasagar and M.Jayachandran attend the event.
On the occasion, Dr.K.J.Yesudas was felicitated by K. Madhavan, Managing Director, Asianet Communications Ltd for his outstanding contributions to Indian Film Industry. Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Manoj K.jayan, Siddique, KUnchacko Boban, Narain, Nedumudi Venu, Kavya Madhavan, director Kamal, Sathyan Anthikad and artist Namboothiri also honoured Yesudas.
There were performances by Bollywood singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.
K.S.Chithra, M.G.Sreekumar, G.Venugopal, Sujatha, Unni Menon, Shwetha Mohan, Manjari, Rimi Tomy, Devanand, Afsal, Sudeep KUmar, Rajalakshmi, and Madhu Balakrishnan were present at the event which also dad performance by Samvritha Sunil , Sandhya, Asha sarath, Vineeth KUmar, Govind Padmasoorya, Sarayu , Dhanya Marry & John.
