95 FM Tadka, the no 1 radio station of jaipur ( IRS 2010 Q2,Q3,Q4 & IRS 2011 Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 ) organized an award ceremony on Saturday, 31st March’12 to accolade the achievements of the women of Jaipur. “95 FM Tadka women recognition award 2012” at Hotel Marriott to honor and motivate the works of the women for their contribution in respective fields. It was a noble step towards celebrating the spirit of womanhood. Through this initiative Tadka intend to honor those women in the age group of 25 years and above, whose achievements are inspiring to the society.
The entries were invited through advertisements in Rajasthan Patrika and on 95 FM Tadka for various groups like corporate, education, sports, fashion etc. The jaipurities showed huge interest and more than 1000 entries were received for the categories like the corporate diva-The professionally oriented award for the women entrepreneurs, The Erudite- The award for the exclusive effort in the field of education, The only hand in the crowd –The award for social and political recognition. The sports star-The award for recognition in the field of sports. The jewel in the crown-The award for fashion/ jewellery celebs. The Energy saver-The award for entrepreneurs/corporate heads who are considerate towards saving energy.
The jury members of the award function were Mrs Pragya Paliwal Gaud, News Director of Doordarshan, Mr. Sanjeev Shrivastav, Ex-editor of BBC India, and Deputy Editor of Rajasthan Patrika, Govind Chaturvedi. The evening was graced by some of the famous personalities of Jaipur like Ladkumari Jain, president of Rajasthan women commission, Kunjilal Meena, CMD Electricity Company, Rohit Mahajan DCP traffic, H.P Tiwari, director of the Patrika organization and Mr Alok Sharma, CEO 95 FM Tadka.
Women attendees even participated in the relay anthem “Dhanya Dhanya naari jeevan auro ko hi tu arpan” composed specially for women which was sung by them one by one. Each line of song were distributed to all the nominees presented at the event .
