The Label Corp, a start up holding company for lifestyle ecommerce brands, has launched its first private label brand in the home décor space – www.thehomelabel.com.

Celebrity interior designer, Sussanne Roshan, serves as the Creative Director for this newly launched home décor brand. A team of experienced merchandisers work with Ms. Roshan to create integrated looks for the home after scouring the country to source these home décor products which are then cataloged much like a décor magazine onto the website.

Preeta Sukhtankar, Founder of The Label Corp, states, “As someone with 15 years of experience in editorial content and entertainment, plus being an avid online shopper, I felt the need for a space that helped me get the look that one normally sees in the pages of magazines into my home and guide me on how to achieve it myself. A site which played the role of a personal stylist unlike the “marketplace” that exists in the ecommerce space today.

This thought led me to search for someone whom shoppers around India trust for her aesthetics and expertise in her craft which in turn led me to our Creative Director, Sussanne Roshan, who as we all know, is renowned for decorating some of the most beautiful homes in the country. This model will also be duplicated in the future across other verticals with tastemakers known for their choices in the same.”

Elaborating on the association, Sussanne Roshan stated, “Interiors and home décor have been my passion ever since I can remember. Over the years, I’ve had a growing community of followers online and realized the need to offer my aesthetic of high quality, premium and well styled products and my decorating knowledge to them at accessible prices.
