Chennai based digital agency, Niyati Technologies, has been chosen to build an online video portal for a leading media company in Australia. The project was recently signed off at Singapore, where Niyati has a registered office.
Speaking on the occasion, K Pradeep, Founder and COO of Niyati, said “We are very excited at winning this project as it can be a showcase work for our capabilities. We have been in talks with the client for the last few months on the project. Our strong technology focus, past expertise in building community portals and proven creative skills seems to have tilted the scale in our favour. The client was also impressed with our pro-active approach and flexible pricing module.”
At the moment, the development is in full swing at Niyati. Pradeep says the portal will not be in the same space as Youtube, Vimeo or other existing video networks. The portal will be using advanced video technologies and crowdsourcing in a highly effective manner.

The videos will be streamlined through CloudFront and powered by a robust AWS architecture and will be using the latest video encoding technology for seamless video streaming. The second stage of the project is to build mobile and tablet versions for the portal using responsive design standards. The project is planned to go live in Q2, 2013.
Says Pradeep “Niyati has been working with global clients on a variety of design and technology projects and the video portal project is one of them. We have also strengthened our social media marketing services and are in talks with a few reputed clients to work on their digital initiatives.”
