Turner strengthens the Numero Uno position in kids genre with POGO and Cartoon Network

Dominating the market with the content, characters and beyond TV strategy, Turner International India Pvt. Ltd. has further consolidated its position by achieving the top two slots in the Kids channels segment, according to the viewership report by TAM (4-14 CS All India). For the week 18 of 2013, POGO has emerged a clear winner garnering Highest GRP’s in the last 7 years for any kids channel and has delivered 183 GRP’s (Position # 1) while Cartoon Network moved up further, with 134 GRP’s, maintaining its second position. The latest ratings of TAM Media Research (4-14 C&S, All India) have revealed that POGO and Cartoon Network are distinctly the # 1 and # 2 channels in the kids channel space with the channel share of 28.7 and 21.1 respectively. POGO and Cartoon Network form a formidable pair of kids’ channel with 49% share of the kids genre.
