News Nation a National Hindi News channel in India celebrated its 1st anniversary on 14th Feb’14.
Speaking of the occasion Mr Shailesh Kumar, CEO and editor-in chief of the channel said, “I congratulate entire team for making News Nation one of the most successful launches in the Hindi News space. The road for us was not easy as this extremely cluttered genre was dominated by non-news segments. We clearly understood that there was a need for a Hindi News channel which was aggressive yet relevant, a channel based on pure news content yet blooming with new ideas and therefore we came up with News Nation and within months of its launch it crossed over its competitors in terms of ratings...”
The channel was launched on 14th February 2013 and the channel has not looked back since then. With the prime focus on delivering pure news content to the Indian masses, News Nation has provided an entire spectrum of emotions to its viewers which is well versed in its tagline- “ Khabrein jo banti hai aapki power”.
The channel which was panned at nation level out did other news channel in a short span of time, and on quite occasion topped the charts even when compared to the established market leaders. The latest four weeks data shows News Nation placed above NDTV India and IBN 7 with and avg.
