Discovery kids launches its biggest India series this diwali 'Kisna'

Delivering smart fun to millions of children in India, Discovery Kids will present its biggest launch of the year KISNA. Doubling the joy and sparkle for children this Diwali, Discovery Kids is introducing the enchanting story of an extraordinary little hero KISNA who characterises the victory of “good over evil”.

KISNA is the story of an adventurous and amusing young boy from Anandnagri and his adversary the wicked Raja Durjan of Andhernagri. During the series, KISNA will clash with Raja Durjan and each time squash his evil plans of spreading fear in KISNA’S hometown. Watch how the strongest fail to match KISNA’S superpowers and his group of friends as they resolve every problem with wit and valour. JO KOI NA KAR PAAYE WOH KISNA KAR DIKHAYE.

KISNA will premiere on October 19th and will air every day at 2 PM and 6 pm only on Discovery Kids.

KISNA is the young hero of Anandnagri an affluent town with abundant natural resources. Raja Durjan the evil king of Andhernagri wants to control it and lay his hands on the secret temple gold. Trikaal, an evil Tantrik and Raja Durjan’s henchman, cannot stand happiness as he bears the burden of a black heart. KISNA battles all the evil with his wit and bravery and stands between the evil forces of Trikaal and Raja Durjan and his beloved city.

Joining Kisna in his quest to save Anandnagri are:

Kisna’s Father: A well-known and respected panchayat member, Kisna’s father Nandji stands firm against succumbing to Raja Durjan.

Kisna’s Mother: His doting mother Yashi teaches him the right values and indulges Kisna with his favourite delicacies.

Kisna’s Brother: Ballu, the protective elder brother loves wrestling and of course food which often lands him in a tight spot.

KISNA’S friends include

Lotus-eyed Radhika who loves to dance and is Kisna’s closest friend.

Suddi is the comic character with his signature “Baj Gayi Ghanti” dialogue.

Kisna’s playful pet parrot Toto is the group’s spy.

Trikaal’s aides Altu and Faltu play along in the wicked plans.

The scheming Champu and Bhondu from KISNA’S own town are envious of him and his popularity.
