Having cemented its place in the hearts of young audiences all over the globe, Chutti TV aims to bring the world to the living room of households. With an eclectic collection of prominent series and movies including the likes of Garfield, Talking Tom, Dora, Hot Wheels, etc, Chutti TV has dominated the space of the pre-millenial era. Engaging and enabling the kids, the channel prides itself as a responsible broadcaster in providing education with entertainment that imbibes human values thus making its viewers responsible citizens of tomorrow.

In accordance to the same, Chutti TV is proud to present its maiden original venture in association with Gusto Studios – Bommiyum Thirukkuralum. Bommi and Friends from the bastion of Gusto Studios, brings to the fore Thirukkural – a 2500-year-old Tamil classic. Professor Thiru. Gnanasambandham, an orator, Tamil professor and an authority in the language, acts as the narrator, explaining the kural in easy-to-understand stories that will be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. With captive visuals by Thotta Tharini and a peppy, catchy tune by Timothy Madhukar, lyrics by Pa. Vijay, Bommiyum Thirukkuralum is a daily episode that is being launched on 29th April, the 11th anniversary of the channel.

Thirukkural is a 2500-year-old classic and one of the two oldest works in Tamil Literature. It comprises of 1330 couplets or Kurals. This oeuvre by Thiruvalluvar, deal with the everyday virtues and is being praised as “Universal Code of Conduct”. It emphasizes on non-violence, human brotherhood, path of righteousness and truth and so forth. Though the Kural has been taught in schools, Chutti TV and Sun TV Network have taken the baton to pass on the lessons to the next and coming generations.
