Yahoo!India, the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Yahoo! Inc. has tied up for content development with technology-based website ZDNetIndia.

NEW DELHI, July 21

Yahoo!India (www.yahoo.co.in), the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Yahoo! Inc. has tied up for content development with technology-based website ZDNetIndia (www.zdnetindia.com). Launched this month, Yahoo!India will offer a selection of ZDNetIndia's technology content, including breaking news, downloads, features, interviews and computing tips and tricks.

"We are happy to announce ZDNetIndia as one of our key content providers on technology," said Arun Gupta, head of business development, Yahoo!India. Just for the record, Yahoo! Inc. is one of the largest e-companies in the world, offering a network of communications, commerce and media to over 145 million individuals around the world.

Says an upbeat Shevatank Shah, chief operating officer, ZDNetIndia, "We are delighted to offer ZDNetIndia's content to a broad range of people who access Yahoo!India, and extend ZDNet's worldwide alliance with Yahoo! into the Indian market."

ZDNetIndia, part of ZDNet (USA), claims to offer a one-stop experience for Indians who want to buy, use and learn about technology. Launched in April 2000, ZDNetIndia is organised around eight different channels with interactive tools, news and resources for a technology-interested audience, ranging from consumers to IT professionals.
