Lowe's Ashish Bhasin takes over as SSC&B Lintas president

Bhasin replaces Ajay Chandwani, who had put in his papers last week

Ashish Bhasin, director, Integrated Marketing Action Group Lintas (IMAG), has been appointed as the president of SSC&B Lintas. Bhasin, however, will continue to head IMAG.

The IMAG chief has moved into the SSC&B Lintas office with a lot of challenges. "The way forward for the agency is to build on the existing foundation. By foundation, I am referring to the agency's creative excellence. We have won over a hundred awards. Now, we want to focus on strategic planning and integrated marketing."

Now, wouldn't this changing strategy require more hands? Bhasin did not elaborate. He, however, did mention that if need be, SSC&B Lintas may consider outsourcing,

Surely, balancing two demanding jobs is going to be tough on Bhasin, but he is more than excited about it. "Yes, it is going to be a big challenge. I would have to travel a lot, but it is going to be great fun too."
