Mudra bags the TimesofMoney’s creative business

TimesofMoney is an online financial service provider under the flagship of Times Finances

Following a multi agency pitch Mudra, Mumbai, has won the creative duties for TimesofMoney. The other agencies in the fray were Quadrant, Everest and Canco.

TimesofMoney includes online financial service provider for NRIs, Remit2India.com, as well as soon-to-be-launched DirectPay.com.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Suresh Amarnani, group business director, Mudra, says, “Our primary task is to convert the online customers to become directpay members.”

The media plan will primarily include the online media, apart from print, which will include all Times group publications.

Amarnani says, “We also plan to launch a TVC in future.”

He continues, “TimesofMoney is also a provider of back-end services to more than 20 banks in India. The challenge is also to create proper awareness about the products and the services, which will also include on-ground promotions.”

Sheena Kapoor, global marketing, TimesofMoney, says, “According to a recent NASSCOM report, the size of the ecommerce business in India is estimated to be around Rs 570 crore. Our business projection is to capture at least 20 to 25 per cent of this market.”

As to why Mudra bagged the account, Kapoor says, “Mudra’s creatives were par excellence. Their enthusiasm and commitment towards the brand helped them stand apart from all the other presentations.”
